The annual Lille international cybersecurity forum is a platform aiming at promoting a pan-European vision of cybersecurity as well as to strengthen the fight against cybercrime via:
– The Trade Show, to share knowledge and ideas, generate business and maintain contacts
– The forum, to discuss and debate with experts, to gather ideas and to share professional lessons
– The Observatory, to continue exchanging views and information after the FIC, to explore topics in greater depth and to consolidate a network of experts
The objective of the FIC is to stimulate debates and reflections on security and trust issues linked to cyberspace. Established under the high patronage of the President of the French Republic, Mr. Emmanuel Macron, the forum welcomes every year several official national and international delegations representing governments and academia. French and foreign Ministers, European Commissioners, renowned academics and representatives of a number of international organisations have been invited to the 2018 Edition of the FIC. The French Ministers of Interior, Gérard Collomb, Defence, Florence Parly, and Mounir Mahjoubi, French Secretary of State for Digital Economy, have already confirmed their participation.
