Cyber Security 360 Summit & SUNFISH

The Cyber Security 360 Summit took place in Rome on the 21st of November 2016, focusing on the new European NIS (Network and Information Security) Directive. The NIS Directive defines a first set of unique rules for cyber security at the entire European level.

The conference focused on, through several discussions among the major representatives of the political, administrative and IT business environment in Italy, outlining progress of the Italian national strategy concerning IT security and the instruments to be adopted in light of the new obligations set out by the new European regulatory framework.

Francesco Paolo Schiavo – SUNFISH Project Coordinator – took the floor in the section dedicated to “The National architecture’s protagonists for information security”, sharing with all participants SUNFISH’s contributions to this topic.
